Now you can pay your bills whenever and wherever you want. All you need is internet access and a Community 1st Checking Account. Schedule your payments up to one year in advance, on a recurring basis or for one-time payments only. You'll be able to access your payment history and even send payments when you’re away on vacation.
This highly secure and encrypted system ensures the utmost in security for real peace of mind. You control which bills are paid, the amounts that are paid, and when the money should be deducted from your account. And with Bill Pay, you’ll never have to worry about lost or stolen checks.
HOW TO SIGN UP FOR BILL PAY
If you are already an eBranch user and have a checking account with Community 1st, just look for the “Bill Pay” button on the top navigation bar once you have logged in to eBranch. You will then be guided through the signup process.
Not yet an eBranch user? Simply enroll in our free eBranch online banking service and then you can enter the Bill Pay area and enroll for Bill Pay. Alternatively you can stop by any one of our branches and a Member Service Representative can get you signed up right away. Once you've enrolled, you can simply log in to eBranch and choose the Bill Pay options you want.
THINGS TO REMEMBER
Payments will be sent out to ensure that your payee receives the payment on the date that you specify. You should schedule electronic payments using the due date of the bill. Other useful tips:
- Each payment is assigned a confirmation number that you should retain for your records (remember that you can easily track and see history for every payment made through the system).
- With our Bill Pay Payment Guarantee, you can be sure that you won’t be charged late fees if a properly scheduled payment should be late.
- The Bill Pay system will display the first date a payment can be made at no extra cost. In some cases you can choose to expedite the payment for a small fee.
