A Money Order is a payment order for a pre-specified amount of money. Money Orders are a popular alternative to Cashier's Checks and they are often considered a safer method of payment because they require that the funds be prepaid for the amount shown.

- Must contain a member’s signature to be valid.
Note: Money Orders have limited acceptance in the insurance and brokerage industry. Because of provisions within the USA Patriot Act and the Bank Secrecy Act, they have more processing requirements than other forms of payment.
